The mangrove trees that line this wide, palm-lined beach shade the water, making for good swimming conditions. Mangroves also attract a variety of birds, providing excellent conditions for their natural study. On the shore there is a small bar and restaurant, Captain Goodlife's Hut, and toilets. Captain Goodlife can take you on a water taxi to a small, isolated (private) beach such as the Coast of Love, Santa Preto or Hula Playas - places that can only be reached by boat. <br />Santa Cruz is distinguished from other beaches by the many palm trees growing around. The beach lagoon is ideal for bird watching, and a walking path starts from the diving center.
