Alma Blow Gallery (Khabai Landhouse)
Curacao, Willamstad

Alma Blow Gallery - the largest art gallery on the island of Curacao, occupies the Habai Landhouse mansion, built in the second half of the 18th century on the territory of the former Khabay plantation. Over more than 250 years of its existence, the building has not changed much, retaining its original architectural style and color. The gallery exhibits works by both local and foreign artists. In the halls of the gallery are paintings, sculptures, ceramics, stone products and crafts, jewelry. The style of performance, the genres in which the artists work, the materials used by them are diverse, but all the works are united by a single theme of the Caribbean region, its nature, bright colors of coral reefs, the sea, myths and traditions. A special section is dedicated to the island of Curacao: paintings depicting the sights and nature of the island, historical events and everyday scenes. The gallery hosts personal exhibitions of artists, literary and creative evenings, concerts, presentations, brochures and catalogs are published. Handicrafts by local artisans can be purchased at the gift shop, and there is a cafe on the outdoor terrace where you can sit in the shade of mango trees and mingle on art.
