Gallery Milano
Poland, Warsaw

Milano Gallery is located in the popular Saska Kępa district, on Washington Square, opposite the National Stadium, next to Skaryszewski Park. The gallery began operations in December 1989. The founder of the gallery is Elizabeth Kochanek-van Dijk, who focuses on contemporary art, presenting the work of famous artists, as well as young and promising. Here, artists can show themselves and meet people interested in art. Among the artists presenting solo exhibitions, there are young debutants whose work is truly remarkable. The originality of these new artists, their way of thinking and their work refresh the face of contemporary art in Poland. Over the years, the gallery has earned a good reputation. Exhibitions, combined with interesting events, an informal atmosphere and, above all, interesting people visiting the gallery, give it special weight in the world of contemporary art. In addition to exhibition activities, the gallery holds consultations on the creation of collections of contemporary art. The gallery promotes the interaction between the cultural and economic spheres, takes part in various cultural events in Warsaw, provides scientific lectures, organizes literary events and famous annual competitions in artistic jewelry design. Talented artists present works in such fields of art as painting, photography, sculpture, video and animation.
