Turrialba Volcano National Park is located in Costa Rica, in the province of Cartago, at the eastern end of the Cordillera mountain range. The park was created in 1955, covers an area of 1256 hectares. The main attraction of the park is the active stratovolcano Turrialba, the second largest in Costa Rica, its height is 3340 meters above sea level.
