If you are ever lucky enough to see the red, green, yellow and blue lagoons of the Eduardo Avaroa National Park, you will cease to believe that the water is clear. These moody lagoons change color depending on the time of day and lighting. The Red Lagoon, also known as the Andean Nest, has sheltered more than 30,000 different types of flamingos. The water in this lagoon is reddish due to sedimentary soil. Here you can see birds such as parinachika or cornucopia. On the islands there are llamas, vicunas, viskachs. The Green Lagoon owes this color of water to magnesium, which is part of the soils of its bottom. Rocks, geysers, volcanic hollows - all these unusual landscapes attract travelers to this park.
