Rinjani Volcano (Munta Rinjani) - an active volcano with a height of 3726 meters, is one of the highest mountains in Indonesia. At the base of the huge crater of the volcano is the crescent lake Segara Anak, surrounded by steep walls. The mountain is very popular with travelers. Here you can see two traditional villages located right on the slopes of Rinjani: Sembalun Lavang and Bayan. Sucarare is the village of weavers south of Kakrenegara.
