Git Git Waterfall, one of Bali's most visited waterfalls, is located in the northern part of the island, 11 km south of the city of Singaraja. Geet Geet is considered one of the island’s most beautiful and deepest waterfalls, the water falls almost vertically from a 40-meter height, forming at the foot of the cliff a small but deep pool where you can swim. The water here is quite cold, risking a "bath" feel the effect of an ice shower. The waterfall is 800 meters from the village of Git Git, located in the middle of a rainforest, you can only reach it on foot. The path runs along the river, on the banks of which are rice fields, coffee and vanilla plantations. Several bridges are thrown across the river, in some parts of the trail there are steep ascents and descents, but in general the path does not cause any difficulties, the signs are everywhere. The noise of the waterfall is already heard from afar, in the air there is a coolness and freshness. The spectacle of a water avalanche descending from a great height, sparkles splashing in the sun and a riot of greenery attracts thousands of tourists to these places. Git Git waterfall has been open for visitors since 1975, enterprising Balinese, right at the foot of the waterfall, organized the sale of souvenirs, jewelry and spices.
