Tyangboche Monastery is located in one day passage from Namche Bazar. The monastery was founded by llamas from the Ronbuksky monastery in Tibet, located on the other side of Everest. The Thyangboche Men's Monastery is subject to several small monasteries throughout the neighborhood. About fifty people live in Tyangboche. It’s not only climbers who climb eight-thousanders or travelers who go to the base camp at the foot of Everest or to trekking peaks come to the Tyangboche monastery. Many pilgrims also come here who want to get closer to Nepalese culture and Eastern philosophy. The Thyangboche Monastery offers magnificent views of Everest and Lkhodze. The two largest peaks border a single huge crater. On the right is Mount Lkhodze, and the front wall of the crater with a height of just under 8,000 meters departs from it. Everest peeps out from behind this wall. And a little to the side - the most beautiful mountain in the area - Ama Dablan, similar to the Egyptian sphinx.
