Park "Druzhba" is a favorite vacation spot of the Elista residents. Here, remnants of the Soviet past are especially noticeable. Here, for example, is the decorative and sculptural panel “Blossom, Kalmykia!” Made in Elista from mosaics in 1972 according to the project of artists O. Kikiev and V. Tsakirov. <br />Another interesting object of the Druzhba park is the Alley of Heroes. The central element of the alley is a monument to the famous commander of Kalmykia, Lieutenant-General B. B. Gorodovikov, on both sides of which there are boards with portraits of the heroes of the USSR and Russia (left) and the heroes of Socialist Labor (right). In 2005, the Alley of Heroes underwent a total reconstruction.
