A beautiful cave with a waterfall in a tropical forest inside the island. The name Emerald Pool in English means Emerald Lake. The path to it is simple, a five-minute walk from the road connecting Keyfield and Castle Bruce. This 12-meter waterfall is one of the most accessible in Dominica. Cainfield is a small village north of Roseau, where the country's main airport and cultural center are located. Castle Bruce is a village in the east of the island, the largest settlement in St. David County.
Emerald Pool is located on the territory of the National Park Morne Trois Python, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can swim in the lake, but the water in it is quite cool. Local landscapes often became the scenery for the movies. Newlyweds often choose Emerald Pool as their wedding venue.
Especially a lot of people in the area of the waterfall during the days of the cruise ship stop.
