Anse du Souffleur Beach
Guadeloupe, Grand-Terre

Anse du Souffleur Beach is situated on the northwestern coast of Grande-Terre in Guadeloupe, near the municipality of Port-Louis. This beach is distinguished by its natural blowhole, from which it derives its name, where seawater is forced through a cavity in the limestone rock, creating a spray. The coastline in this area is characterized by its rugged limestone cliffs and the presence of sea grape trees. The beach itself is composed of light-colored sand and is a known location for observing sea turtles. The bay's waters are generally calm, protected by an offshore coral reef, making it suitable for swimming and wading. The surrounding area is part of a coastal landscape that includes mangrove forests. The beach is accessible to the public and is considered a natural site of interest within the region.
