Concord Waterfalls
Grenada, Grenada island

If you enjoy hiking, this place is a real pleasure. Concord Falls is not one, but three waterfalls at once. They are located on the edge of the forest on the western side of the island of Grenada, and therefore the water is completely clear and icy. Of the three waterfalls in this area, the first is the most accessible, with a paved forest road leading almost directly to the waterfall. There is nothing more refreshing than diving into an invigorating, cool mountain stream. The second of the three waterfalls (O Coin) is larger and it is located higher, and you can only reach it after a 45-minute tour. The trail passes through a nutmeg plantation. However, it is worth taking a guide with you, who can show you different types of cultivated plants and talk about their use. The third waterfall (Fontanblue) is a bit remote, but the trip is worth it. At Fontanble, water cascades down a 65-foot cliff into a crystal clear pool. If you plan to visit all three waterfalls, then we suggest you leave in the morning, prepare a light lunch and do not forget the camera, otherwise you may not be believed when you describe all the beauty in words.
