Bay rouge
Saint Martin, Marigot

Bay Rouge beach is one of the most incredible in beauty and quiet beaches. A great place to spend a relaxing day on this beautiful beach of the French side of St. Martin, where there are bars and restaurants. All beaches here are public, and you have the right to come to any of them! You can stroll along the Bay Rouge along a long, deserted pinkish sandy shore. In fact, it was because of this that Bay Rouge got its name. This coast has calm waters, which makes it a great place for swimming. The eastern end of the beach, near the entrance area, is more popular, and people wear clothes here, but the more you move west, the fewer people you will see and clothes are optional. In general, the leeward shores in the west and southwest are calmer. Therefore, Bay Rouge is a beach with very calm waters, as it is not located in the open Atlantic, although some undercurrent might be dangerous. Be careful!
