The Çorum Museum was opened on October 13, 1968, since 2003 it has been located in the building of the former hospital, built in 1914. The museum is worth a visit to see the rich collection of works discovered in Alacahoyuk, Bogazköy, Ortaköy, Eskiyapar, Pazarlı, Kuşsaray and Alişar Höyük. But the museum exhibits not only archaeological, but also ethnographic works. In the first exhibition hall and the corridor next to it, you can see objects dating back to the Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantine era: coins, ceramics, glass, incense boxes, bottles, figurines and figurines, oath vessels, sarcophagi, capitals, jewelry, etc. All these works are exhibited in chronological order. The second exhibition hall is entirely devoted to Hittite wide-mouth jugs, there are quite a lot of them here. In addition, there are several vases, fruit plates, seals and other works. In the corridor between the exhibition halls, pottery, idols, bronze axes and various vessels dating back to the times are displayed. The third and fourth exhibition halls contain carpets and rugs, women's clothing, jewelry, weapons, metal works of art, religious manuscripts. There is a luxurious fountain in the courtyard of the museum.
