Koroyanitu National Heritage Park is located on the west coast of the island of Viti Levu - the largest of the islands of the Fiji archipelago, 15 km from the city of Lautoka. The park is famous for its beautiful landscapes and pristine nature. In the territory of Koroyanitu, Mount Batilamu is located - the third largest mountain peak of the archipelago, from the top of which panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and the nearby islands of Mamanuca and Yasawa open. There are two routes that lead to the top of the mountain. The passage of the first takes about 5 hours, the second route will allow tourists to see the most beautiful waterfall, as well as the terraced gardens of Navuratu. On the top of Batilamu, small hotels have been built where you can stay for the night. The landscape of the park is mountainous, most of its territory is covered with dense tropical forests, there are many picturesque ponds and waterfalls. One of the most beautiful waterfalls is Savuione, in its pool you can swim. There are six traditional villages on the territory of Koroyanitu Park, visiting which tourists can get acquainted with the local culture and traditions, chat with the inhabitants of the island, and attend the traditional kava ceremony - making a ritual drink of kava from the roots of wild pepper. The most popular among foreign tourists is the village of Abaka, in which a Visitor Center is organized. Eco-tourism enthusiasts can go hiking in the Sabeto Valley, go trekking, horse riding or go on a mountain bike cycling tour.
