The Murat Pasha Mosque is a significant historical Islamic place of worship located in the Kaleiçi district of Antalya. It was constructed in 1570 under the patronage of Murat Pasha, who served as a vizier and the Beylerbey of the Karaman Eyalet during the Ottoman Empire. The mosque is a notable example of early Ottoman architecture in the region, characterized by its single-domed structure and the use of cut stone in its construction. A distinctive architectural feature is its minaret, which is adorned with blue tiles, giving it a unique appearance. The interior includes an inscription bearing the name of the calligrapher and the date of its creation. The mosque complex originally included a madrasa and a bathhouse, although these structures have not survived to the present day. It stands as one of the oldest Ottoman-era mosques in Antalya and continues to serve as an active place of worship for the local Muslim community.
