The Spoon Museum in the city of Nytva, Perm region, is a unique cultural institution dedicated to the history and diversity of spoons. Founded in 2003 on the basis of the exhibition “The History of a Spoon,” the museum is located at Lenin Avenue, building 12a. 


The museum's exhibition includes more than 5,000 exhibits from 83 countries, including spoons made of various materials: wood, metal, porcelain, ceramics and glass. Of particular interest are spoons with unique purposes, such as cocktail spoons, pastry spoons, and lobster spoons. Some exhibits have historical value, having survived the First and Second World Wars. 


The museum is open to visitors from Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 to 17:00, on Saturday from 10:00 to 18:00. Sunday and Monday are days off. Excursion services are provided by prior arrangement. 


The Spoon Museum in Nytva is a place where you can get acquainted with the history and culture of various peoples through the prism of such a simple but important everyday item as a spoon.
