La Margineda Bridge
Andorra, La Margineda

La Margareda Bridge - the largest medieval bridge in Andorra, located on the Royal Road, on the way from San Julia de Loria to Andorra la Vella. The bridge was built in the XII century and is a monument of medieval engineering architecture, as well as one of the most interesting historical architectural attractions of Andorra.
In form, the La Margineda bridge is a stone arch 33 meters long and bends in an arc over the Gran Valira River to a height of 9.2 meters. The bridge is paved with stone cobbles, quietly turning into stone roads. Over its long history, it has not changed much.
