St. Anthony's Bridge
, Saparmyrat Nyyazow District

The St. Anthony Bridge was built in 1800 as a crossing across the Hagatna River between the Bilibik and San Ignacio districts. He received his name in honor of Anthony of Padua. The bridge survived during the bombing of World War II and after its end, several years were still used for its intended purpose. However, after some time the bridge was left without a river and since then has been playing the role of a historical and architectural monument of Guam. On the north side of the bridge is a sculpture of the mermaid Siren, a popular character in Guam folklore.
