Arikok National Park occupies 18% of the area of Aruba, including a significant part of the island’s inland area and a long stretch of northern coast. On the territory of the park is the Yamanota Upland - the highest point on the island. A bike ride or just a walk along the hiking trails will give you an idea of a landscape full of surprises - cliffs, white sand dunes, impressive caves and cliffs.
Also in the park there are many significant historical and cultural sites, including the houses of the first settlers, cave paintings left on the island by the very first inhabitants.
