The Table Mountains (Góry Stołowe) is a unique national park located in southwestern Poland, on the border with the Czech Republic. The park is known for its flat mountain peaks that resemble tables, hence its name. These landforms are the result of centuries of erosion, which have created amazing rock formations, deep gorges and labyrinths.
One of the park's most famous attractions is the Błędne Skały rock complex, where tourists can walk through narrow passages between giant stones, creating the feeling of a labyrinth. Another popular spot is Mount Szczeliniec Wielki, the highest point of the Table Mountains (919 m), which offers magnificent views of the surrounding landscape.
The park is an ideal place for hikers , offering a variety of routes of varying difficulty, from easy walks to more challenging treks. In addition to its natural beauty, the park is famous for its rich flora and fauna, including rare species of plants and animals such as the black stork and brown bear.
The Table Mountains National Park is part of the larger Sudeten Mountains complex and is part of the Natura 2000 network of protected areas. Its special geological and natural significance makes it an important conservation site and a popular destination for tourists, geology and nature lovers.< /span>
