Almost two kilometers long, Grand Anse de Salines is undoubtedly Martinique's most famous beach.
It is truly magnificent, with its fine white sand and coconut palms leaning over calm, bright blue waters.
This mythical beach in the south of Martinique, located 5 km south of the city, stretches for more than a kilometer.
The forested part of the site is part of the Forêt Domaniale du Littoral, managed by the Office National des Forêts (ONF).
The beach is divided into three parts: Grande Anse de Salines, the largest and most famous part, Petit Anse de Salines in the west and Grande Terre de Salin in the east.
