During a walk along the 4.5 km long Dunica Swamp Bridge Trail, you can see an incredible amount of beautiful and special landscapes with small lakes and groups of islands. At the end of the trail you will be able to see the only pure hornbeam forest in Latvia, which is more than one and a half centuries old.

The Dunika bog trail is located in the Dunika nature reserve. Home to the 7,000-year-old Tirspurvs Bog, the nature reserve is a special place to visit for everyone. Thirspurvs Bog is a moss or raised bog and is home to a variety of protected plant species.
