Gaizinkalns Hill is the highest point in Latvia, its height is 311.5 meters above sea level. Walk along the path and you will climb the highest hill in Latvia, Gaizinkalns, cross the top of the hill along its entire length (~ 1 km) and see a breathtaking panorama opening up to four slopes in front of you: “Ladies’ Paradise”, “Western Slope”, “ Small Golgotha" and "Golgotha".
Gaizinkalns Nature Park contains a number of cultural heritage sites. These are Tropeli, Dzisli and other ancient burials, small details of the landscape - the boundaries of ancient estates, ridges at the foot or in the middle of the slopes (old field boundaries), old roads, for example, the one that goes from the Staburags rock in Koknese to Staburags in Rauna, or the so-called Vidzeme belt.
