UŽAVAS ALUS was founded in 1994 shortly after the restoration of Latvian independence. Užavas Beer quickly gained popularity, and it soon became clear that a home brewer would not be enough. Therefore, in 1999, the foundation was laid next to the house for a second, larger brewery, which opened in 2000.

Užavas Beer adheres to its strong values, brewing beer in the traditional way, using only four natural ingredients - water, barley malt, yeast and hops. The quality and balance of taste of Užavas Beer are an example of what real beer should be!

The Užavas Beer brewery is located 27 km from Ventspils. Route: Ventspils – Kuldiga – Liepaja highway (P108, P111), approximately 3 km after the village of Uzhava (road sign “Uzhava”), moving towards the city of Liepaja, you will see a brewery on the left side of the road.
