Cirulisi nature trails will introduce you to the development of the beautiful Gauja River valley from the Ice Age to the present day! The Cirulisi nature trails in Cesis reveal the history of the Gauja River and its surrounding nature.

There are three convenient, easily accessible routes in the area - 2.7 km, 3.5 km and 6.2 km long. During the walk you can see spectacular natural sites: the impressive Cirulisi rocks, also called Spogulyu (Mirror Rocks), are beautifully reflected in the water of the oxbow lake. Dzidravots (Pure Spring) is a place where you can quench your thirst after a walk. The legend of the Ligavas (Bride) cave will again confirm the power of love, but the Ciruliši cave is also called the abyss.

The beginning of the trail is located near the campsite “Žagarkalns”, the visit is free.
