Tiganya Beach is located south of the village of Elaya. This Blue Flag award-winning beach is the largest sandy beach in the region. Although, it is worth noting that in some places pebbles are also found here. In the southern part of Tigany there is a bar, lifeguards; there are sun loungers and umbrellas, toilets and showers, changing cabins and a volleyball court. In addition, cold springs hit the water here, which add unusual sensations to the bathing process. This side is mainly preferred by young people, and the northern part, where the water is slightly warmer, is chosen by vacationers with children.
The beach has a tavern where you can enjoy views of the entire beach. And if you wait for the evening, you can see the waters of the Laconic Gulf, shining with silver and gold during sunset over Mount Taghetos.
