Galitsky Park, officially known as Krasnodar Park, is a modern urban park located in Krasnodar, Russia. It was opened on September 28, 2017 on the initiative and at the expense of entrepreneur Sergei Galitsky, owner of the Krasnodar football club. The park covers an area of 22.7 hectares and is located next to the FC Krasnodar stadium.
The park project was developed by the German architectural bureau GMP International, known for its work around the world. More than 2.5 thousand trees are planted in the park, including oaks, hornbeams, alders, poplars, pines, tulip trees, maples and thujas.
The park is divided into several zones, each of which has a unique design and functional purpose. Among them are an amphitheater, children's and sports grounds, a flower garden with a terrace, a water labyrinth and a mirror labyrinth. In March 2019, the third stage of the park was opened, on the territory of which evergreen subtropical trees and shrubs were planted, and a flat fountain was opened.
Krasnodar Park has become a popular recreation spot for residents and guests city thanks to its modern architecture, varied recreation areas and vast green areas. It also serves as a venue for various cultural and sporting events.
