Biogradska Gora Park is located between the Lim and Tara rivers, in the middle of Belasitsa. The park was declared national in 1952. Most of the park is covered with virgin forests, which are located at the mouth of the Biogradsk and Jeserstice rivers. The park has trees that are more than 400 years old, above 45 m and about 1.5 m in volume. The territory of the park has been protected since 1878, when the royal ban was introduced, a gift to the then King Nicolas. Even then they wanted to preserve Biogradsk Mountain for the future. And indeed, she remained almost untouched.
You can get there on foot or by car. There is a road leading from Kolasin to Golesh, located in the immediate vicinity of the park.
