La Mosquitia is one of the most inaccessible places in Honduras. You can get here exclusively by boat from Trujillo and La Ceiba or by plane. This is one of the few places on the planet where you can feel not just a tourist, but a real traveler. La Mosquitia is green forests, pine savannahs, wild beaches, rivers, and lagoons in the mangroves. Tapirs, parrots, deer, monkeys, jaguars, butterflies, and many others live in these wild forests. etc. Travelers, if they wish, are taken to places where alligators and turtles can be seen, along rivers along which stones with mysterious inscriptions were found. Today, the La Mosquitia areas are not only of scientific interest, but also the widest opportunities for active and ecological tourism: fishing, rafting, kayaking, etc.
