The Republican Aviation Unitary Enterprise “Gomelavia Airport” combines Gomel Airport and Gomelavia Airlines. The company provides aircraft maintenance services at Gomel Airport around the clock. The airport is international. Border, customs, sanitary services work around the clock. There is a hotel, a dining room, a food service workshop, and paid parking at the airport. The airport accepts all types of aircraft with a maximum take-off weight of up to 200 tons. At the airport, inexpensive jet fuel is always available. Gomelavia Airlines operated the YAK-12, AN-2, AN-24, AN-26, YAK-40 aircraft. From January 1, 1980, flights began on turbojet aircraft TU-134 and TU-154. Currently, flights are carried out on aircraft AN-24, IL-76. The company operates scheduled and charter flights. Part of the AN-24 aircraft is leased by other airlines. Crews have training and extensive experience in performing international flights. Over the years, charter flights to and from Italy, Germany, Spain, Bulgaria, Turkey, China, India, the United Arab Emirates, Guinea, Mali, Angola, Congo and other countries have been and are being implemented. For almost 15 years, the company has been operating flights to transport oil shifts of Belarusian oil companies to the regions of Western Siberia. Services provided by the airport:

Engineering-aviation, navigational support, provision of aviation fuel and lubricants, as well as on-board catering is carried out by the state-owned enterprise Gomelavia Airlines. Gomel airport airlines are often used as a spare. This is an alternate aerodrome for letter flights: when the president or the prime minister fly somewhere, a place is reserved for them here just in case.
