Hydropolis has dozens of models of ships, boats and other structures. Here you can see and touch many devices, pumps, motors and levers.

Hydropolis is a place where multimedia technology, interactive installations, replicas and information-rich touch screens are used to represent water from different perspectives. Hydropolis is divided into 7 thematic zones, cyclic exhibitions, a zone for children and a space for relaxation. Permanent attractions of the Water Museum include:

History of hydraulic engineering,
Man and water
City and water
Ocean of life
Water states,
Water planet,
Deep water zone.

Even before entering the Hydropolis building, you can see the Water Printer, which is the longest installation of its type in Europe. Its length is 46.5 m. On the walls of the curtain, under which visitors pass, various patterns and inscriptions are depicted. The water printer works only in the spring-summer season.

After entering the Hydropolis building, i.e. Entrance area, you can use the cloakroom, souvenir shop or cafe. Only here there is Wi-Fi. Even before entering the observation area, there is a 3.5 m high whirlpool.

Another attraction that appears in front of visitors immediately after entering the "Planet of Water" is a multimedia projection on a 65-meter screen, which tells about how water appeared on Earth. The voice for the 10-minute show was provided by Kristina Chubuvna. An unusual attraction of the room is also the image of the globe with a diameter of 2 meters, as well as stars and space flowing around the space.

The Depth Zone presents models of creatures that inhabit the seas and oceans - from multi-meter sharks passing through schools of fish to the smallest bacteria. You can sit on a tropical beach and listen to the soothing sound of the sea, or enter a replica of the Trieste submarine. It was the first bathyscaphe to reach the deepest point on Earth, the Challenger Deep in the Mariana Trench.

The biggest attraction of the Ocean of Life zone is a huge shark model with a school of fish. The theme of this place is marine life. Here you can get acquainted with the charming coral reefs, as well as microorganisms and huge marine life.

The Man and Water zone represents the relationship between man and water. This is the place where you can find out what are the functions of water in the human body. In a separate hall "Sacrum" visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the relationship of water with the culture and religion of different countries.

Replicas of ancient water inventions, models of huge ships and a multimedia layout of the Nile can be found in the Hydraulic History Zone. Many inventions from that time have been recreated, so it's worth testing them to imagine how people lived in the past.

The city and water area will let you learn about the history of water in Wroclaw. You will find out how many liters of water Wroclaw uses and how much Dubai uses. You will be able to see historical and multimedia maps of Wroclaw, as well as an interactive map created by MPWiK. In addition, you will learn about how water is produced and delivered to wastewater treatment plants, as well as a satellite map showing the great flood of 1997.

If you want to get to know all the states of water and learn about its properties, the Water States Zone is the best solution. Here you can learn to distinguish individual clouds in order to predict the weather yourself and see what the water cycle looks like in nature. Visitors will definitely be interested in a snow blizzard simulator and a steam fire.

The relaxation zone is a place for those who want to relax in silence and gain strength for visiting other attractions. There are sun loungers here. On one of the walls there is an installation depicting the rainforests of the Amazon River. The seating area is lit with blue lights to help you relax.

Hydropolis is an ideal place for children. In specially designated areas, they can play with dolphins or clean the coral reef themselves thanks to multimedia games designed for the little ones. They will also be interested in the cinema, which has 4 halls. In total, you can watch 6 films about coastal explorers and sea camouflage. The creators of Hydropolis recommend visiting the museum for children from 6 years old. In addition to entertainment, they can bring a little knowledge. For example, they will learn how the water molecule works.
