Wlodawa is the most South-West railway flagship of Belarus. Wlodawa railway station closes an un-electrified, 60-kilometer branch coming from Brest. The station building was built at the beginning of the 20th century. At that time, the station was an island. At one time, the station was quite large: there is evidence that a sleeper impregnation plant was located here, the sleepers from which went to almost all of Poland, and there was even a reversal circle. During the war, the station was badly damaged. According to some information, an air bomb hit him, according to others the Germans blew it up when retreating. From the building there were only two walls, which thus stood for 20 years. In the sixties of the 20th century, the building was rebuilt. The station is nominally included in the border zone of the Republic of Belarus, where it is forbidden to enter without the ATS of the railway passing along the border. The railway bridge to the Polish side was blown up during World War II and has not been restored since then. To date, the train schedule at Wlodawa station includes 6 trains. The first, according to the schedule, leaves at 4 hours and 15 minutes, the last one arrives at 23 hours and 24 minutes.
