Avala Tower is a television and radio tower located on Mount Avala in the southern part of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. It was built in 1965, but was destroyed during NATO bombing in 1999. In 2006, its reconstruction began, and in 2010 it was reopened to visitors.<br /> The height of the Avala TV tower is 204 meters, which makes it one of the tallest in the former Yugoslavia.
