Sandy Point Beach
United States Virgin Islands, Frederiksted

Sandy Point Beach is a sandy beach on the southwest coast of Santa Cruz Island, part of the National Wildlife Refuge. This is one of the longest beaches of the US Virgin Islands, consisting of more than three kilometers of soft white sand. The beach is not equipped, you can bring umbrellas and sunbeds with you, but be careful - you can’t stick any objects into the sand, since there is a danger of destroying the nests of turtles that breed offspring on this secluded beach.
Soft sand, turquoise water and tropical greenery make this place a truly paradise beach for a relaxing, secluded holiday. Great depth begins very close to the coast, but a little further there are several sand spits. There are no corals or any interesting marine inhabitants here, so they are not involved in snorkeling and diving. Near the beach there is parking where you can park a car. There is no other tourist infrastructure on the beach.
