St. Ivan's Church is located a kilometer south of the village of Shepherd. It is a one-nave single-aisled church with a vestibule measuring 7.5 by 3.5 meters. It consists of a nave, a narthex and a semicircular apse. A feature of the plan is an open narthex. The church is the only known example of a one-nave church of this time in Western Bulgaria. It was built in the 16th century from river stones. Internal paintings are not preserved.
