Kadin bridge is located in the center of the village of Nevestino. Its length is 100 meters and a width of about 5 meters. It consists of five arches, while the middle one is the highest and defines the pointed shape of the bridge. In each of the columns, one window is installed for drainage of water during floods. It is covered by large granite slabs. Stone railings are made of the same stone. The architecture of the bridge has a mixed character, combining antique and medieval forms.
A granite slab with an engraved inscription in Turkish was erected on the eastern parapet from the south side of the bridge. It says that the bridge was built in 1470 under the Sultan Mehmed II. From Turkish, the name translates as "bride’s bridge". There are several legends that explain this name. According to one of them, the construction of the bridge did not go at all - everything built in a day was demolished by the waters of the river during the night. Therefore, the masters decided that for the successful completion of the construction it was necessary to bring one of their wives as a sacrifice. It was decided to award such a fate to the first thing that would bring food to her husband in the morning. The first came the bride of the master Manola and her body was cemented at the base of the bridge.
