The Zemen monastery with the Church of St. John the Evangelist is located at the foot of Konyavskaya Mountain, on the outskirts of the city of Zemen. It was founded in the 11th century, and is currently inactive. The monastery consists of two residential buildings, a small bell tower and a church with a large courtyard.
