Gudauri is located on the southern slopes of the Greater Caucasus Mountain Range in Georgia. The resort is located near the Cross Pass (2379 m above sea level) and 43 km from the second highest peak in Europe - Mount Kazbeg (5047 m). Gudauri is located on a small plateau, at an altitude of 1900 - 2200 meters above sea level, along the Georgian Military Highway, 120 km from Tbilisi and 79 km from Vladikavkaz.

Gudauri has a rich infrastructure - now there are 25 hotels, 5 apartment buildings with apartments, many cottages and guest houses. There are several restaurants, an indoor swimming pool, two indoor tennis courts, a bowling alley, saunas, ATMs, currency exchange and several small nightclubs. Rescuers, instructors, heliski and freeride guides work, there is a children's ski school, equipment rental.
Thanks to the police reform, in just a few years, crime was completely eradicated in Georgia. In Gudauri, as well as throughout Georgia, you will find complete security and the most benevolent atmosphere. Georgians are always welcome guests and you will be amazed at the degree to which they are hospitable. And while this stereotype among many Russian-speaking riders did not pass, Germans, Slovaks, Poles, Czechs, Lithuanians, Latvians and Estonians are trying to roll out endless megapoles of virgin lands.
