Metropolitan Church of the Assumption

The Metropolitan Church of the Assumption of the Virgin is located in the very center of the city. It was built in 1816 on the site of the medieval church of St. Nicholas. Since 1820, a parish school has been opened on its territory. It is an architectural and art monument of national importance.
