Parndan Nature Reserve is located on Kangaroo Island in South Australia.
The natural park was officially taken under protection in 1968 in order to preserve the remains of local vegetation.
The park has an area of 580 hectares and is located 7 km northeast of the city of Parndan in the central part of the island, about 30 km west of Kingscote.
Most of the territory of the park is occupied by undersized forest and woody-shrubby vegetation with a predominance of eucalyptus trees of the genus allocasuarin, Banksia, xanthorrhoea, small seed and other typical representatives of the Australian flora.
The vegetation of the reserve provides a favorable habitat for the endangered Burogolovy mourning cockatoo.
