Stone mushrooms
Bulgaria, Beli Plast

Stone mushrooms are a rock phenomenon located near the village of Beli Plast. The height of the "mushrooms" is about 2.5 meters, and their "legs" are fancifully painted pink due to the presence of a specific mineral in them. Another mineral painted the caps of mushroom caps in green. Rocks have acquired these interesting forms due to underwater volcanic activity. When the water came down, erosion processes completed the design of these phenomena.
