The Museum of Art in Copenhagen, founded in the 19th century by a connoisseur of art, the “beer king”, the founder of the Carlsberg brand, Karl Jacobsen. The museum exhibits works of art from various eras - from ancient to modern. On the ground floor there is an extensive collection of sculptures. Here are sculptures of Rodin, Degas, Canova, Rauch and Kai Nielsen, as well as an extensive collection of antique sculptures - Greek, Egyptian, Etruscan and Roman. On the upper floors there is a collection of paintings, which exhibited paintings by such famous impressionist artists as Manet, Pissarro, Renoir, Degas, Cezanne, as well as post-impressionists - Van Gogh, Toulouse-Lautrec and Bonnard.
