The Kildare Street Museum opened in 1890. During this period, the museum has accumulated several unique Irish collections. The museum has exhibits dating from 2000 BC to the twentieth century.
The archaeological collection "Treasury" & "Or" - exhibits from the period of the ancient Golden Age, "Prehistoric Ireland" - exhibits of everyday Irish utensils, "Viking Age Ireland" - consists mainly of archaeological finds from the period 800 - 1200 years of our era, "Ancient Egypt" - One of the richest museum collections in Egyptian archeology.
