Cape Hong Chong
Vietnam, Nha Trang

Honchong is a narrow granite cape, prominent in the turquoise waters of the South China Sea. It offers magnificent views of the long coastline north of Nha Trang and the nearby islands. Unfortunately, this place is filled with souvenir stalls that prevent you from enjoying the view from the cape.
Northwest of the cape is Mount Nui Kotien (Magic Mountain), whose three peaks are thought to resemble a lying fairy. The peak on the right is her face, which stares intently at the sky; the middle peak is her chest; and the left (highest) forms her crossed legs.
To the north-east of the cape is the island of Hon Rua (Turtle Island), which really looks like a turtle. The other two Hong Yen islands are in the distance in the east. About 300 meters south of Hong Kong (that is, towards Nha Trang), also a few tens of meters from the beach there is a tiny islet Hon Do (Red Island), on top of which is a Buddhist temple.
On a massive boulder at the end of the cape there is a giant handprint. According to local legend, he was left by a huge drunk wizard when he fell, spying on a naked fairy bathing on the shore of Baytien (Magic Beach), which is closest to the island of Hon Roy. Despite a strong fall, the giant managed to get up and, in the end, catch the fairy. They began to live together, but soon the gods intervened and punished the wizard, sending him to the "re-education camp" (this is obviously a version of the story after 1975) for an indefinite period.
A fairy languishing with love patiently waited for her husband to return, but a lot of time passed, and, desperate to wait for his return, she fell into grief and turned into Mount Nui Kotien (Magic Mountain). When the giant wizard finally returned and saw what happened to his wife, he fell next to the boulder where his hand was imprinted and fell into prostration. He also turned into a stone, which can be seen today.
