Botanical Gardens Flower Forest
Barbados, Saint Joseph

Flower Forest is located in the center of the island and the state of Barbados. It is an area of 217,000 square meters, reserved exclusively for botanical gardens, protected from the construction of residential and industrial complexes, and includes 28,000 square meters of wild garden in the "Scottish District" of Barbados, at an altitude of almost 230 meters above sea level.
The Flower Forest was founded and has been successfully developing since 1985, and is currently managed by David Spieler. The landscape of this area has gentle hills, climbing on which you can discover amazing views of the lush countryside and eastern coastline. For visitors, it is not superfluous to take a camera with you to capture picturesque landscapes and breathtaking flora.
There are several routes in the Flower Forest so that tourists can explore these beautiful gardens, feel the energy of tropical nature and enjoy the diversity of the blooming world. This botanical garden is home to many majestic palm trees, colorful shrubs and tropical flowers. Huge begonias, royal palms, plane trees, agaves and cacti grow here, birds rustling with trees fluttering, the freshest air and bright sun breaking through the leaves with pre-sunset rays fill with vital energy. After an inspiring and refreshing walk through the Flower Forest, visitors can drop by a cafe, grab a bite to eat or just enjoy a cup of tea.
