Do not miss the opportunity to visit the Botanical Garden! It was created in 1944 by Professor Tobias Lsser. It is located on 70 hectares, of which 10 are divided into distinct zones, and a tropical humid forest grows on the remaining 60 hectares. There are about 2500 different plants belonging to 200 botanical families. About 50% of these plants can be found in Venezuela, the rest were brought from Asia, Africa and Latin America. In addition, you will find here about 4,000 palm trees belonging to 214 species. The tropical rainforest is home to a rich and diverse tropical fauna.
