Ethno Village - Museum Lubachevskie Doliny is located in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the autonomy of Republika Srpska, 17 kilometers from the town of Banja Luka, in the village of Lubachevo. The museum was founded in 2010, covers an area of 2 hectares, the creator and owner of the museum is Nedelko Brankovich, who for 20 years collected antiques in the vicinity of Banja Luka - from Bronzanog-Maidan to Knezhev. When the collection became crowded in Brankovich’s house, the collector decided to build a museum in the village. Now the museum’s collection has about 5,000 exhibits - household items, tools, furniture, musical instruments, dishes, coins, collections of minerals and fossils, antiques. Gradually, next to the museum, in which the most valuable objects were exhibited, the ethno-village began to “grow”. Traditional houses were brought in from Lyubachevo to create it. All these buildings are genuine, they have been carefully restored and are now fully functional. In a few years, another small village in the Serbian style of the late XIX - early XX centuries grew in the village of Lyubachevo. Residential houses of various types are represented here - rural and mountain, made of stone and wood, each with authentic furniture and utensils. Among farm buildings - barns, sheds, a cheese factory, a forge, carpentry and weaving workshops, an old apiary, a shed for storing agricultural machinery and tools, and others. In total, the open-air museum contains about 30 authentic buildings. The ethno-village hosts cultural events, folklore festivals and excursions. Visitors to the museum can enjoy traditional cuisine in a local tavern (buckwheat pita, pogachitsa, tsitsvyra, veal under sachet, spit lamb, sarma, Serbian bean with smoked brisket), stay overnight in a cozy mini-hotel and buy souvenirs from local craftsmen as a souvenir.
