Kung Thanh Temple
Vietnam, Ha Noi municipality

Kung Thanh Temple was built in honor of Saint Chan Wu, who, according to legend, responded to the call for help from King An Zyong Wong. The king asked him to help get rid of the ghost that was stopping him from building a fortress in Ko Loa. The temple was built during the reign of King Lee Thai To (1010-1028). In 1893, the temple was reconstructed and acquired its current form. The main attraction of the temple is a black bronze statue of St. Chiang Wu. The statue is striking in its scale: 3600 kg of weight, 3.96 meters in height, 3.48 meters in circumference.
