House-Museum of Rashid-bef Efendiyev

The building where the museum is located was built in the late XVIII - early XIX centuries using river stone and brick. The museum building is two-story. The lower floor consists of two rooms and a basement, and the upper floor consists of three rooms, one small corridor and departments. The museum has 2281 exhibits. It consists of four departments. In the first section there is a bust of Rashid-bek Efendiyev and exhibits reflecting his activities. The exhibits of this department are the first play of the writer "Flame of Blood" (1979), written by him during his studies at the Gori seminary on the advice of his teacher A.O. In the second section, household items belonging to the family of R. Efendiev are preserved. The third department is presented as the office of Rashid-bek Efendiyev. The fourth section contains photographs of Rashid-bey Efendiyev’s son - Mamed bey Efendiev and honorary decrees given to him by the state, as well as books belonging to his grandson Izzet Nabiyev.
